currently reading Wu Ch'eng-En's Monkey. it's a tale filled with exciting characters and written with colourful
prose which i fell in love with the instant i discovered it. i used to stay up late to watch the live action tv show
on channel 4 and also quite enjoy Damon Albarn's Journey To The West soundtrack which accompanied the
stage opera. however, i have no idea how the story actually ends.

does priest Tripitaka reach India to deliver the holy scripts? does insolent monkey find redemption? what
becomes of the excessively lecherous Pigsy and the apathetic sea monster Sandy? i'd like to finally find out...

monki map

i recently purchased some winter knits online from Danish based fashion label, (they have
current mid season sale, take advantage). equally exciting i thought was the jazzy illustrations decorating
the packaging the goods arrived in. inspired, i decided to use them as source material to create a set of
lightly psychedelic GIFs.

fetish doll made by members of a South African pygmy tribe. a recent gift from a friend.
i'm terribly superstitious when it comes to these things, my room is full of lucky charms.

i've been warned about this piece though. apparently the good luck it may initially grant can suddenly turn foul
and it's to be discarded the moment such an occurence happens. or else i may risk myself to some further misfortune...
