Imaginary Friends / Imagine Children's Festival

What am I looking at?
Don't know really. We caught a quick glimpse of it as it was being packed away.

That's helpful. Well, what can you tell me about this thing?
It's a sculpture created by artist Jasmin Anoschkin which is currently on display at the Southbank Centre as part of the Imagine Festival.

Ok. What is the Imagine Festival?
It's a series of arts events for children. Contributors are usually creators of popular children's books. Past contributors include Jon Klassen who had a live stage show of his book 'I Want My Hat Back' which Nino Paulito attended and enjoyed very much. The highlight of this year's show is the Adventures In Moomin Land interactive exhibition. Nino Paulito will be attending that exhibit in the near future.

Wonderful. Anything else?
Yes. Staying on the theme of Children's books, Nino Paulito was sad to hear author Dick Bruner died this week. He was famous for his Miffy the Rabbit stories which we have referenced in our work on numerous occasions. We'd like to share this inspirational video of Bruner at work in his studio.

Great. Thanks. Bye.
